Twee Merrigan, Yoga Teacher, Gracious Guest, Soul Friend

For the past week I've been in an intensive yoga teacher training with Twee Merrigan. After five days with Twee I'm ready to fly.  Today my yoga practice is the seva (service) of cleaning the house that Twee and I shared for the week that she was here and for the first time in many months I'm enjoying the sacredness of the ritual of cleaning.

Twee is fearlessly honest and so deeply grounded in her true path that she reminds me to stand firm in mine. She is also an extraordinary yoga teacher who creates a sacred, joyful, playful and potent space in her classes, the kind of space in which it is possible to reconnect with the sacred, the playful and the potent in your own self.

Today I am grateful, awake and ready.

That’s great! Twee sounds like a good mentor and teacher. And yes, cleaning house does have a way of un-cluttering the mind. 🙂

I’m packing some suitcases right now, and reading your post got me in the “seva” state of mind…like, why can’t all our daily chores become like sacred little offerings? 🙂 It can be so meditative & relaxing.

    I want her too!
